Job Title: Salesforce Solutions Architect – Part-time/Flex-time
Location: Boston, MA – Requires residency in Greater Boston
Hours Per Week:  Part-time/Flex-time
Compensation: Hourly

We seek an entrepreneurial self-starter with extensive Salesforce experience. The Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for the full application architecture and development lifecycle process that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services and solutions. This role will require a strong knowledge of development, database design, systems implementation and crafting technical solutions to complex business needs.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Drive platform roadmap by engaging with leadership, staff and IT professionals at our nonprofit clients to fully understand business requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to implementation consultants
  • Provide consultative support, define technical solutions and evangelize functional and technical capabilities of the platform. Identify potential risks and impact on operations associated with new solutions
  • Facilitate and review the definition and implementation of standards, methodologies, and best practices that guide the design of technology solutions
  • Systems integration of Salesforce Apps and other software such as Pardot and Marketo

Desired characteristics/experience:

  • Motivation to drive results for impact in the nonprofit sector
  • 5+ years of software systems architecture and integration experience
  • Possess detailed knowledge and awareness of emerging trends and technologies within the Force.com Platform
  • Outstanding leadership and motivational skills to ensure that technology solutions continuously meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Certified on one or more of the following: Force.com – Architect, Developer, Admin
  • Understanding of best practices and design trade-offs, with the ability to communicate design choices
  • Awareness of mobile solutions and considerations
  • Awareness of common third-party solution providers for Force.com
  • Knowledge of internet and cloud architecture paradigms
  • Exposure to the nonprofit sector is strongly desired; direct nonprofit experience a plus

We seek a self-starting, entrepreneurial marketer for an entry-level position. This position can be a great resume builder or paid internship. It’s a unique opportunity to bring an innovative approach to marketing to the nonprofit sector.  Boston-local college students welcome to apply.

Description/Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility is to be a valuable contributor in building a sustainable, repeatable pipeline of new clients for the company.  Includes:

  • Assist Marketing Manager with Social Media – develop content of blogs and messaging; execute on placement and building an audience.
  • Assist with On-line Marketing – AdWords, LinkedIn, other advertising
  • Assist with Direct Marketing – both on-line and via snail mail; test content
  • General Marketing Communication – PR, coordinate with designers, update web site
  • Data entry; database updates
